The proxy infrastructure space has a 15-year history with annually growing demand, but the industry's compliance posture is low, product experience is poor, and customer reputation is bad. Engineering culture
Strong writing culture: every project lasting ≥ 2 weeks starts with a 6-pager (Amazon-style narrative doc). We don't decide complex things on Zoom and we don't read slide decks.
Small teams, deep ownership: each product / service has 1 owner + 1–3 core contributors. There are no "20 people co-own this microservice" situations.
Frequency over batch: main branch ships 30+ deploys per day. CI/CD is fully automated; manual approval is required only for production database migrations and billing rule changes.
Blameless post-mortems: every production incident produces a public write-up within 72 hours. We focus on system improvement, not blame.

Senior Network Engineer
Lead P2P routing fabric, node scheduling, and QoS algorithms. 5+ years TCP/IP stack depth, familiarity with Linux networking, eBPF, or DPDK; comfortable reading Cilium / Envoy source.
Staff Rust Engineer
Own the proxy gateway core. 100K+ QPS / node latency-critical workload. 3+ years Rust in production, deep Tokio / async fluency, judgment around locks and unsafe.
Backend Engineer (Go)
Build the unified API gateway, billing, logging, and audit pipeline. 3+ years Go in production, comfort with distributed transactions, billing precision, CQRS.
Security Engineer (Compliance)
Take the team-level SOC 2 / ISO 27001 framework controls to first-third-party-audit readiness; own the KYC pipeline and abuse mitigation. CISSP / OSCP required.
Offensive Security Engineer
Internal red-team / blue-team exercises, third-party vendor risk, bug-bounty triage. CVE-published or notable writeup history a strong plus.
Frontend Engineer (React / Next.js)
Dashboard, docs site, internal tools. 3+ years React in production, opinions on SSR / RSC, performance budgets, and accessibility.
SRE / Platform Engineer
Kubernetes operations, observability platform, incident-response automation. Weekly on-call rotation (compensated).
Data Engineer
ClickHouse + Kafka + dbt stack, processing 100B+ rows/day.

CSM (Greater China)
Own enterprise relationships across mainland China, HK, and Taiwan. Fluent English, 4+ years SaaS B2B CSM.
CSM (EMEA)
Same scope across EU + ME + Africa.
Solutions Engineer
Pair with sales on enterprise PoCs, ship reference code, review customer architectures. Must be comfortable as both engineer and seller.
General Counsel
Lead contracts, cross-border compliance, IP strategy. US or UK bar admission, 5+ years SaaS / internet legal.
Compliance Analyst
KYC review, sanctions screening, customer due diligence. CAMS preferred.
Technical Writer
Docs, tutorials, API reference. Requirement: you can run the code samples you write.
Interview process (4 stages, 2–3 weeks)
- 1. Application review — We commit to a 5-business-day reply — yes or no. If you don't hear back, complain directly to careers@helodata.com.
- 2. Intro call (45 min) — Hiring manager + you discuss background, motivation, goals. We answer your questions in this round — feel free to grill us.
- 3. Technical / business deep-dive (2–3 hours) — Engineering: live or take-home (4 hours, paid). Business: case study + realistic scenario role-play.
- 4. Team conversations (90 min) — 2–3 future peers go deep on technical detail, collaboration style, culture fit. Independent scoring; 3/3 must pass for an offer.
